Eligibility:

You are eligible to apply if you:

are a domestic student
have sucessfully completed at least 8 units in Spanish language courses
have been accepted into the UQ Abroad Program to undertake at least 4 units of study towards the Spanish major at a host university

Selection criteria:

We will consider:

academic achievement in Spanish language courses; and
strength of interest demonstrated in the Spanish language and culture; and
personal qualities, including leadership potential; and
any other matter that the selection committee considers relevant to your future professional success in the Spanish language discipline

The scholarship was established in 2011 and is maintained by a gift from the Queensland Government, UQ International and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
