Summer School - Undergraduate Scholarships at King's College London 2018, UK

Undergraduate Summer School is a chance to immerse yourself in British culture, experience the UK higher education system and make friends with fellow students from around the world.

Research-led teaching is globally-renowned and uses group discussions, off-campus excursions and guest speakers to make summer classes as fun and as informative as possible. The Undergraduate Summer Schoolclasses take place on King's riverside campuses in the very heart of London, so you will be within easy reach of all the main visitor attractions enabling you to enjoy the city while you learn. Session One of the Undergraduate Summer School will run from 2 to 20 July 2018 and Session Two from 23 July to 10 August 2018. You are free to attend one or both sessions. The application deadline is 31 May 2018 and early application is advised.

Undergraduate Summer School

We are offering eight tuition fee scholarships for students wishing to study on our 2018 Undergraduate Summer School. These scholarships will cover the tuition fee of £1,500 and the deadline to apply is 1 April 2018.

Social programme

King's College London Student Union (KCLSU) works with the Summer Programmes team to create social programme that compliments the Undergraduate Summer School.

Classes for the Summer School are usually in the morning or afternoon, leaving you with free evenings and weekends to take part in our varied social programme. Social events include Harry Potter Studio Tour trips, theatre excursions, and visits to historic cities and royal palaces.

Additional information

Hours: Each module will consist of a minimum of 45 contact hours. Classes will run in either the morning or the afternoon.

Module information: Find out more information about the Undergraduate Summer School modules on offer.

Attendance: One of the conditions of passing your Undergraduate Summer School module is that you must meet the required 80% of timetabled contact hours.

Assessment and grading: The UK grading system may be very different from what you are used to. All students will receive a final mark on their Record of Agreed Results (transcript).
