Eligibility:
You're eligible if you:
are a domestic student
are enrolled full-time in the Doctor of Medicine
are a Year 4 student
can provide documentary evidence of financial need (i.e. Centrelink statement, Tax Notice, etc.)
are undertaking a placement at the Rockhampton Regional Clinical Unit for a second consecutive year
do not hold another scholarship that the Dean considers to be similar.
Selection criteria:
We'll consider:
evidence of financial need
strength of your personal statement showing an interest in pursuing a career in rural medicine.
If there are two applicants of equal merit, preference will be given to the applicant who has demonstrated the greatest financial need.
