Eligibility:

You're eligible if you:

  • are of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • are enrolled as a full-time student in a program in the Faculty of Medicine and/or the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences
  • are not holding another scholarship that the Pro-Vice-Chancellor considers to be similar.

Selection criteria:

The Bursary is awarded to the applicant showing greatest merit as demonstrated by:

  • the strength and relevance of your funding request to your current academic studies
  • academic achievement in studies to date
  • demonstrated financial need
  • any other matter that the selection committee considers relevant, including your community involvement and leadership potential.
