The Center for Conservation and Sustainable Development (CCSD) at the Missouri Botanical Garden (MBG) offers training/practice fellowships for individuals who have completed their undergraduate degree and have achieved a certain level of professional development to carry out meaningful work in a first-class plant science and conservation institution. These fellowships are awarded to scientists from Latin America, Madagascar, Vietnam, and Tanzania. The following fellowships may be offered for application: Shirley A. Graham Fellowships in Systematic Botany and Biogeography Becas Alwyn H. Gentry para Botanicos(as) Latinoamericanos(as) The Fellowship will cover the costs of round-trip air travel to St. Louis and lodging in MBG's visitor apartments, and will provide a stipend for food, local transportation, and other incidental expenses in St. Louis for a period of up to two months.

Discipline: Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM)

Eligibility: Open to applicants from Mexico, Central America, South America, Madagascar, Vietnam, and Tanzania. Application is open to graduate students. To qualify, applicants must have an undergraduate degree in conservation biology, ecology, botany/plant sciences, or a related field and prior research experience.
