The Presidential Leadership Program (PLP) 2019 offers the opportunity to participate in it for Egyptians.

Program Goals:

This program focus on creating a promising youth base qualified to carry the leadership torch within all areas on a political, administrative or community front, and possess profound national awareness with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by the country.

The PLP works to inject competent youth into the pipelines of the governmental sector and any other sectors that contribute to building and supporting the national economy and developing and raising the efficiency and performance of their workers in the administrative sector of the state. All this in a program of 8 months.

Eligibility:

The applicant must have a university degree.
The age of the applicant should be from 20 to 30 years upon submission.
The applicant must be an Egyptian national.
The applicant must have good conduct and behavior (no previous criminal record).
The applicant must have the motivation to learn.

Admission Process:

The applicant passes through these steps:

Registration (Online Application)
Evaluation (Assessment of Application).
Test (Arabic and English Written Test).
Interview (Interview with the Panel).

Note: At each stage, will be notified by their progress and if they have proceeded through all stages or not.

The Program (PLP):

The idea of the program began with the announcement of the initiative by H.E. President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of Egypt for the Presidential Program for Youth Leadership in September 2015, with the aim of establishing a strong and rich base of youth competencies to qualify for political, administrative and community work. This is achieved through training on theories of management and scientific and practical planning, and help increase the ability to apply modern methods to address the problems surrounding the Egyptian state.

The PLP program has been developed around the creation of a program that targets young future leaders and enables them to acquire the skills they need to learn about governance, administrative and political fields and most importantly to develop their ability to attain critical and analytical thinking. The goal of PLP is to help youth to acquire these 21st-century skills needed to cope with the demands of the market. The mastery of these skills gives the students the ability to become influencers of the future leading towards a community of entrepreneurs that think, learn and innovate.
