The Call for Applications Is Now Open

Eligibilities: 

The program includes three types of grants:

 

-Type 1: to Armenian researchers for conducting joint scientific activities with international collaborators funded by their national scientific organizations,

-Type 2: to Armenian researchers for conducting joint scientific activities in the FAST priority areas (Biotechnology/Computer and Data Science/Advanced Materials /Microelectronics) with the collaborators from leading international research institutions,

- Type 3: to international researchers coming to Armenia for the implementation of joint scientific activities with their Armenian collaborators.     

The maximum size of each grant is USD 7,500 

Applications for the Grant Type 1 are accepted on a rolling basis until Summer 2019.

Applications for Grant Type 2 and 3 are accepted until October 30, 2018. The results will be announced by December 15, 2018.

The Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST) is pleased to announce the Call for Applications for its “Travel Grant for Collaborative Research” program 2018-2019.

The Foundation’s mission is to build an ecosystem of innovation to lead scientists, technologists, and innovators in Armenia and beyond to success on the global stage. The Grants Program aims to contribute to the mission by fostering collaboration in the STEM field between Armenian and international researchers. The program is designed both for the Armenia-based and international (including Diaspora Armenian) researchers to visit their counterparts in order to work on the joint scientific projects.
