Walt Disney Animation Studios are searching for artists eager to work within the Disney team as lighting officials at Disney's headquarters in Burbank, California. Disney lighting officials are an important part of the storytelling process by using color and lighting manipulation mechanisms to represent mood changes in the story, whether subtle or vital. They are also responsible for lighting, installing and merging the shots of the characters and the environment to produce a final work frame that matches the vision of the director, production designer and director of cinematography.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Digital Media, Computer Science or similar disciplines and have a deep understanding of the importance of colors, contrast and lighting design. They are also required to have experience in production using 3D lighting, the use of global lighting programs such as V-Ray, Arnold and others in addition to the ability to use Unix and Linux software.
