The University of Technology Sydney in Australia offers Science international postgraduate coursework scholarship for excellence. This Scholarship was established to attract high achieving commencing international students enrolling in a postgraduate coursework degree at UTS Faculty of Science.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible to apply for the Scholarship, candidates must:

  • Be an international student at the time of application (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia)
  • Meet all admission criteria for the selected course.
  • Be commencing full-time studies on-campus.
  • Be commencing a UTS Faculty of Science Master by coursework degree.

Selection Criteria:

  • Academic achievement in the most recently completed tertiary qualification recognized by UTS for entry into the selected UTS postgraduate coursework degree program is the sole basis for awarding this scholarship.
  • UTS International will automatically consider all commencing international students applying for a postgraduate coursework program at UTS Faculty of Science in Sydney for this Scholarship. There is no separate Scholarship application or documentation in addition to what is required for the coursework admission application.
  • The Recipient must continue to be enrolled as a full-time (24 credit points) international student in an eligible Faculty of Science undergraduate course at UTS for the duration of the scholarship unless he/she has been approved to study a reduced study load.

Funding:

Approximately sixteen Recipients will be awarded the Scholarship each year. UTS will pay each Recipient AUD $5,000 towards their first session tuition fees. The payment is a one-off payment and is reflected as a fee reduction in the tuition fee deposit required for the first session.
