AIESEC invites you to its volunteer opportunity to work on providing affordable and clean energy to the people. This is considered as one of the sustainable development goals.

Role Description:

AIESEC vision aims to improve the daily lives of millions by implementing sustainable solutions and environment-friendly alternatives. Their services range from waste management and composting up to clean energy solutions like solar and wind energy so your main activities are:

Work on different designs of Grid-Tied, Off-Grid Solar system.
Being familiar with the concepts of "net metering" and "feed-in tariff".
Knows the main components of a solar system.
Be familiar with design software/programs for PV systems.
There are weekly trips with the fixed timeline you get once you arrive to discover Egypt.
The value of fees is 150$ for accommodation, arrival picks up and welcome pack (T-shirt, Wristband).

Eligibility:

You should have a background in electrical engineering.
You should have good knowledge of renewable energy.
You must be good at English.
You may have an associate degree, Bachelor, Doctorate, High School, Masters, and Other Tertiary Education.

Funding:

The accommodation will be covered.
VISA: Through a Skype interview (10 Mins Max) for checking the requirements of the opportunity and to explain everything is not clear enough for you and answer any questions you might have. AIESEC was established in 1948 after world war II, where seven youth across seven countries had a dream of building cross-cultural understanding across nations.
