Roya TV in Jordan is looking for the ideal candidate for a full-time Social Media Moderator vacancy, to assist in responding to the followers’ questions and concerns over the channel's social media pages.
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years’ experience in consumer-facing marketing, PR, or creative writing in an agency setting.
- Experience managing social channels for leading consumer brands is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and use of current and emerging social channels.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understands web trends, including social media integration and the impact of the growth of mobile/tablet browsing.
- Versatile; comfortable performing a variety of roles and tasks within the company (examples include: comments moderation, answering messages, audience engagement, community management, etc.).
- Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision. Equally skilled at working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
Responsibilities:
- Moderate and monitor Facebook page community contents, and decide whether to remove/ reinstate content as potentially offensive/ inappropriate.
- Attending to feedback/ messages, replying, forwarding to appropriate individuals for action and following up as required.
- Report and track ongoing moderation issues.
- Collaborates effectively with a creative team and web designers during the creative process.
