Nottingham University in the United Kingdom is offering sports scholarships for funding, coaching, and support for elite athletes. The applicant can achieve his sporting ambitions with the range of sports scholarship packages from Nottingham University for high-achieving athletes in any sport.

Scholarship Coverage:

Nottingham University's foundation sports scholarship package covers sports and fitness membership, specialist facilities and support, including physiotherapy support, with a scholarship value of £2,000.
The university's bronze, silver and gold packages also include financial support of £1,000 to £8,000 towards training and competition expenses, plus a range of other benefits including mentoring, sports psychology and nutrition advice, contributing to a total scholarship value of £4,500 to £14,000.
The university also offers new International Sporting Excellence Scholarships in 2020 for international students with outstanding sporting ability, covering £5,000 towards tuition fees.
The Deng Yaping Sports Scholarship is available for table tennis or badminton athletes from China.

Eligibility:

To apply for this scholarship, the applicant must:

Be of academy, national or international standard in his sport or show strong evidence of future outstanding potential.
Successfully achieve a place on a course at the University of Nottingham or be already studying there.
Home, EU, and international students are all eligible for sports scholarships.
The applicant does not need to receive an offer of study before applying for this scholarship, but the university recommends applying for an academic course as soon as possible.
The applicant may be shortlisted for a scholarship after his initial application but he must receive and firmly accept an offer before a scholarship can be awarded to him.
Priority is given to sports within the BUCS program, Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth sports, with other sports considered on a case-by-case basis.
Sports scholarships can be combined with academic scholarships where students are eligible for both and follow their separate application processes.
