Dhttps://mina7.net/en/country/28,unitede Kunshan University (DKU) is seeking applications for 4 open positions as Instructors for Teaching Labs at its interdisciplinary liberal arts Undergraduate Program (UG). Additionally, this is a position focusing on a teaching mission, with one in Biology, one in Chemistry, one in Physics and one in Data and Computation Science. Successful candidates will be supporting course instructions of laboratory sessions in the UG Division of Natural and Applied Sciences (DNAS). Likewise, lab Instructors will receive mentoring in teaching that prepares them well for future career development.
1.Support lab instructions under the supervision of the course instructors, to support science courses on the DKU campus in China.
2. Also, teach the lab within the context of the course, and provide a constant presence in labs.
3. Likewise, the incumbent will introduce lab activities when appropriate.
4. Additionally, help with lab set up and take down.
5. Moreover, the incumbent must ensure that the students understand the issues of experimental design, error in measurement, data analysis, and control treatments or conditions.
6. Also, ensure safe lab practices.
7. Monitor students’ use of lab notebooks.
8. Additionally, assist with grading lab notebooks when requested.
9. Likewise, perform other duties as assigned.
10. Furthermore, University employees’ job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the University grows in size and complexity in its programs.
1. Candidates must hold an M.S. or Ph.D. Degree in an appropriate field. Teaching experience is desirable, as experiences working in labs in an international setting.
2. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to work in a multidisciplinary and intercultural environment.
3. Also, he/she should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, and fluency in Chinese is preferred.
4. Likewise, good organizational skills and knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, and procedures.
5. Similarly, strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
