The Office of Student Services is looking for an Academic Advisor to join their team! Bouve College of Health Sciences has over 200 faculty members, with approximately 2,000 undergraduate and 2,400 graduate students.
Responsibilities:
The academic advisor provides student-centered advising services to Bouve College of Health Sciences students. Additionally, the advisor assists students with interpreting degree audits, understanding degree requirements, planning curricular and co-curricular experiences, and making referrals to resources. Furthermore, the advisor interprets and communicates University and College policies and procedures and assists students with navigating processes. Likewise, the incumbent works collaboratively with constituents across campus to facilitate services for students. Also, he/she will occasionally coordinate programs and events for students and will also coordinate special projects at the discretion of the Associate Director and/or Assistant Dean.
Masters degree
