Position Summary:

The International Center Assistant is responsible for supporting the administrative and reception functions of the International Center. Responsible for creating a responsive, positive, and welcoming environment to the International Center. Furthermore, the candidate is responsible for greeting visitors, answering phones, responding to email messages, assessing needs, and responding appropriately.

Independently answers questions about services and programs; provides information on immigration processes and procedures and university resources. Also, the candidate makes assessments and provides referrals to advising staff and/or Director on complex and escalated inquiries. Likewise, he/she works closely with the Administrative Coordinator to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the International Center. Furthermore, he/she provides administrative support including data entry, incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining database information.

Compensation Range:

Hourly: $20.73
