The research subject Entrepreneurship and innovation include organizational development with a particular focus on business development based on innovative products, services and production solutions, as well as ways to manage and organize operations. The research group collaborates with large national and international companies, small and medium-sized companies (SMEs), policy makers and other research groups. Research results are produced in close cooperation with industry and other actors.
Project description
We are now looking for a postdoctoral researcher for an ongoing project focusing on business model innovation facilitating circular economy. The project aim is to develop the ability of SMEs and their partners to commercialize circular business models to increase the utilization of their side-streams. The project involves researchers from Sweden, Finland, Norway as well as Ireland A significant part of the project is focused on addressing business needs by mapping out challenges, proposing methods for improvement and facilitating the implementation of the proposed methods. Thus, the project work will be conducted in close cooperation with SMEs and drive their growth and development.
Duties
A postdoctoral researcher position involves being part of a research group where you, in collaboration with others conduct scientific work. It includes collecting and analyzing data, and writing high impact scientific articles, together with others in the research group and individually. We expect the post-doc to target publications in journals on level 3 and 4 in the ABS journal guide. The scientific work for this position will be conducted within the above-described project, and the postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for relationship building and interaction with industrial partners. The position also involves presenting research nationally and internationally, and participating in seminar activities within the research group. Departmental duties such as teaching can also be included but main focus is on research tasks.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who has a PhD, preferably within business administration or industrial engineering and management (or equivalent). In the first instance, it should be considered that a doctorate has been awarded for a maximum of three years before the end of the application period.
You should have a strong research credentials related to the research project described above. We expect the post doc to have a solid publication record in journals in ABS level 2-4. Due to the qualitative nature of the research project experience in conducting qualitative research studies is a merit. The position requires good knowledge of oral and written communication in English. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a merit.
