The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is inviting applications for its James C. Gaither Junior Research Fellowship Program. The fellowship is available for students from Russia, China, Europe, the Middle East, India, and the United States.
The James C. Gaither Junior Fellows Program is designed to provide a substantive work experience for students who have a serious career interest in the area of international affairs.
The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (CEIP) is a foreign-policy think tank with centers in Washington D.C., Moscow, Beirut, Beijing, Brussels, and New Delhi. The organization describes itself as being dedicated to advancing cooperation between nations and promoting active international engagement by the United States
Applicants from: Russia, China, Europe, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, India, and the United States are eligible to apply for the fellowship.
Positions are paid, full-time positions for one year. The monthly salary is USD 3,291.67 (equivalent to USD 39,500 annually) subject to federal, state and local taxes. A generous benefits package is provided, including medical, dental and life insurance as well as vacation leave. Gaither Junior.
