Alghurair Foundation is offering the opportunity for arab youth to be part of several course in Data, Economics, and Development Policy (DEDP). The opportunity consists of two parts:
[1] MITx MicroMasters in DEDP: this course will equips learners with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge to tackle some of the most pressing challenges facing developing countries and the world’s poor. Through a series of five online courses and in-person exams learners will gain a strong foundation in microeconomics, development economics, probability and statistics, and engage with cutting-edge research in the field.
[2] MIT Blended Masters in DEDP: applicants who finish their MITx MicroMasters will be eligible to pursue an accelerated on-campus Master’s degree at MIT.
Applicants will receive the following:
For the MITx MicroMasters in DEDP:
[1] Full coverage of tuition fees.
[2] Access to a network of Al Ghurair Scholars across the region
For MIT Blended Masters in DEDP:
[1] University tuition and other mandatory university fees
[2] Health insurance, as per the university plan
[3] Housing costs, travel airfare and visa costs for students living away from family
[4] Transportation, books, and other living expenses
