A Foundational Black American is any person classified as Black, who can trace their bloodline lineage back to the American system of slavery.
The Team Black Empowerment Scholarship exists to provide resources to Foundational Black Americans who are seeking higher education and need a monetary supplement to help achieve their educational goals.
You must be a high school senior graduating in 2022 or an undergraduate student to be eligible for this scholarship.
To apply, please write a short essay about what your most important goals are and how achieving those goals will help you become a good steward to society and productive person in your career.
Then, in a video, explain what you learned from looking into your heritage and how you will apply that knowledge going forward.
The scholarship will be given to one male and one female winner.
Education: You must be a high school senior graduating in 2022 or an undergraduate student to be eligible for this scholarship.
Status: You must be a Foundational Black American to be eligible for this scholarship.
