Institution: Alabama Junior Academy of Science
Purpose: To aid Alabama residents who are planning to pursue higher education in science.
Eligibility: Applicants must be Alabama residents who are high school seniors and have completed a scientific research project and an accompanying report of no more than 20 pages. They must have completed all college entrance requirements by October 1 of the year of application submission. Selection is based on the quality of the scientific research paper that is submitted as part of the application.
