Eligibility:

You're eligible if you are:

a domestic student
from a rural or regional background
able to demonstrate educational disadvantage as a result of financial hardship as determined by QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme
a commencing student with no prior tertiary study at a bachelor level or higher
enrolled, or intend to enrol, in any bachelor program at UQ in the year the scholarships is awarded
a resident (or intend to be) at an off-campus accomodation provider or an Approved Accomodation Provider.

Selection criteria:

This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit (OP/ATAR/QTAC Rank).

About this scholarship:

This scholarship was established in 2018 through a bequest to the University under the will of John Dugald Adams, a long time donor and a Bachelor of Commerce graduate of this University from 1961, who died in 2017.
