Eligibility:

You're eligible if you:

can demonstrate financial need
and have completed either:
- the first two years of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)
- the first year of the Master of Physiotherapy.

And if you're any of the below:

a citizen of Australia
a permanent resident of Australia (including humanitarian visas)
a citizen of New Zealand.

Selection criteria:

We'll consider:

demonstrated financial need
academic achievement in courses undertaken in relevant programs
your personal statement demonstrating how the scholarship will assist completion of your program
any other matter the selection committee considers relevant to your future success in the profession of physiotherapy.

Preference will be given to:

applicants from a rural area.

About this scholarship:

This scholarship was established in 2011 and is maintained by the income from a bequest from Ailsa Munro, a greatly respected, retired physiotherapist, who graduated with the first cohort of students from the physiotherapy program at The University of Queensland in 1941.
