The School was founded in 1939, and it’s the only one where the education is organized with Braille system. The pupils have various degrees of eyesight impairments. Thanks to the knowledge and education that they obtained most of the graduates were able to find their place in the society, achieving success in various spheres. The volunteer will help children to participate in all arts workshops and to support the staff in organizing these activities (painting, sculpturing, handicrafts, etc.) He/she will establish social contact with individual children and their parents by chats and games, will present his/her country and culture to the children, organize dancing and singing evenings, teach songs, create workshops on different interesting topics. Children really need the volunteer and get attached with them. The volunteer will learn how to work with invalid children, especially with visual problems and learn how to have activities with them. Duration of the project is 8-12 months.
