ICUB offers post-doctoral fellowships for scientists with a doctorate degree in Bucharest, Romania for 3 to 12 months. The fellowship is aimed at individuals with a Ph.D. degree received within the previous five years (at the time of the application) who have already demonstrated their ability to work successfully as independent researchers.
The selected applicants receive the following:
[1] Salary: 2,500 Romanian pounds / per month (= approximately 560 euros, tax free).
[2] Prizes may include travel expenses for overseas colleagues (equivalent to Economy Class for Air Travel) and living allowance (up to 1200 LE/month).

How to apply
To submit, send the following as a PDF to office@icub.unibuc.ro:
[1] Application Form
[2] Biography and list of publications
[3] A copy of the doctorate
[4] writing samples (3 articles / papers / patents max);
[5] Name, email address and telephone numbers of three professors/scientists who can write letters of recommendation to the candidate (e-mails will be sent by the referees directly to Iatoffice@icub.unibuc.ro, if messages are not sent in time - two weeks after the application is submitted) - The request will be rejected).
[6] Research project (maximum 5 pages, bibliography calculated separately)
[7] For research projects involving experimental work or access to laboratories, there must be a preliminary agreement on behalf of the head of the department or the head of the laboratory.
