Fully funded scholarships in China Master and Phd 2019/2020
Chinese Government will offer for the 2019/2020 academic year:
Who can participate:
Masters or PhD students to conduct research related to their studies at Chinese higher education institutions,
Tunisian research professors for research trips to Chinese higher education institutions.
NB:
International transport costs are the responsibility of the selected candidates.
Constitution of the application file:
The application must contain the following documents:
- Three copies of the scholarship application form in China, completed in English only on the website: https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login according to the instructions attached in appendix1.
- Three certified copies of the diplomas and transcripts obtained by the candidate with their translations in English into three original copies.
- Three copies in English of the project of studies or research project to be carried out in China comprising at least 800 words for candidates for masters and doctorates, and at least 500 words for internship applications.
- Two letters of recommendation from two different teachers (professors or lecturers or assistant professors) in English or Chinese to be provided in three copies.
- Three copies of the medical form attached in Appendix 2. The form must include the stamp of the health structure on the candidate's photo and the signature of the Physician (it is necessary to deposit the copies and keep the original that will be used for the procedures of Visa).
Candidates are also invited to provide a letter of acceptance or pre-admission from a Chinese university. The absence of this piece will lead to automatic orientation by the Chinese part of the selected candidates.
For the purposes of selection, applicants must imperatively complete the form attached in Appendix 3 and file in their files, in addition to the documents cited above and requested by the Chinese side, transcripts of all their courses (including years of repetition) in Arabic, French or English and containing annual averages.
Eligibility:
It should be noted that these scholarships do not concern:
- students already registered in China,
- students in terminal classes.
The files must be presented in the form of three complete sets of documents each forming a separate lot.
These scholarships will be distributed according to the table attached in Appendix 4.

Additional information for Tunisian candidates:
Applications must be sent to the Directorate General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research by 8th April 2019. Any incomplete file or sent to the General Directorate of International Cooperation after this date will not be considered. Internship files for researchers and teachers must include the opinion of the head of the institution to which the teacher concerned belongs.

• A total of 54 months of research fellowships for research stays of no more than 6 months each.
