Edith Cowan University (ECU) invites outstanding graduate students who cannot fund their postgraduate studies to apply for a scholarship at the new University Centers in Sydney and Melbourne.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate must be overseas students wishing to commence postgraduate studies at ECU Sydney or Melbourne in the next intake. The current ECU student cannot apply.
Candidate must meet English as well as academic direct admission requirements for their chosen course.
Candidate must not be the current beneficiaries of other scholarships.
Candidate must not have a course application in the University system or course offer live with ECU when applying for the course.
Candidate must not be New Zealand or Australian citizens or Australian Permanent Resident.
Other Terms and Conditions:
The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship from ECU.
The scholarship recipient must comply with any applicable student visa requirements.
The scholarship recipient must attend a minimum of 80% of the lectures and activities of the campus.
The scholarship recipient must accept his/her course offer within the time periods specified by ECU (if the course offer is not accepted within the stipulated deadline the scholarship offer will lapse).
The scholarship recipient shall not defer his/her studies during the term of the scholarship.
Course transfers are not permitted without ECU’s permission.
The student must consent to their image being used by ECU for marketing and communication purposes and sign a release form to facilitate this.
The scholarship recipient must support ECU’s marketing and communications endeavors through attendance at key marketing events nominated by ECU.
The scholarship recipient must pay their tuition fees within the stipulated payment deadlines, failure to do so will negate the scholarship.
If a student changes their course and does not seek a new scholarship before applying for the new course, the scholarship may not apply to the new course.
The student or his / her agent must use the link provided to access the discount before completing the application.
The scholarship will be revoked at any stage if a student is found to have provided information that is misleading, does not meet the scholarship eligibility criteria, or does not comply with the ongoing conditions of the scholarship.
Value:
The scholarship covers 10% of the tuition fees for the duration of the course.
