Al Jazeera Media Institute is offering a great job as an Interview Producer in Doha for experienced journalists, producers, program editors, and presenters to join the team. Al Jazeera English is an award-winning 24-hour international news channel that provides unrivaled coverage of world affairs.

Responsibilities:

You are expected to have an extensive database of guest contacts and will be required, often at very short notice, to arrange guests to appear in news bulletins and our current affairs discussion program.
Must be able to conduct in-depth pre-interviews on the subject matter for which you are booking.
Must be able to book studios or location points for an interview and arrange transport.
You will liaise with the presenter and program editor regarding content.

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Media, Communication or other related fields
At least 5 years in a similar role
Knowledge in current affairs
Knowledge in global issues
Knowledge in news making contacts
