The Technical University of Dresden is one of the top universities in Germany and Europe: strong in research, first-class in the diversity and quality of study programs, closely networked with culture, business and society. As a modern full-time university, with its 14 faculties, it offers a broad spectrum of scientific research as few other universities in Germany. It is the largest university in Saxony. The large campus family of the TU Dresden consists of 37,000 students and about 7,900 employees, of which around 4,400 are financed by the budget - including 524 professors - and about 3,500 work as third-party employees.
