Film Free Way invites artists to participate in the fifth edition of the Moving-Image-Arts Festival, which was created by artists/curators Gerda Cammaer, Pierre Tremblay and Devin Shears.

The festival focuses on short experimental videos that explore the classic genre of portraiture in new ways. This one-hour film festival is a juried showcase of short films and videos from around the world.

Eligibility Criteria:

Short films of any genre are accepted but preference is given to experimental films and art videos.
Work produced for a commercial purpose or within a commercial context is not eligible.
Films and videos need to be 10 minutes maximum, preferably shorter.
Films and videos have to be produced after January 1, 2018.
Student films are welcome.

Festival Timing:

The festival will take place on March 5th, 2020 at the School of Image Arts, Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
