Google is offering an internship opportunity for undergraduate students majoring, or intending to major in, Computer Science or a related subject. The internship will be in the summer of 2020 in Beijing, China.

Google seeks to increase the numbers of computer scientists and software developers in the future. it believes that employing the best talent, diversity of perspectives, ideas, and cultures leads to the creation of better products and services. Students will benefit from this program, which bridges the gap between academic study and a professional internship and get the motivation to continue working in this field.

Duration:

This internship will run from between July 2020 to October 2020, for a consecutive 12 weeks.

About the Internship:

This internship program includes:

Software Project: A three-month development project that you will work on with a team of Googlers and other Engineering Practicum interns.
Skills-Based Training: Enhance your coding skills, and gain exposure to new tools and programming languages.
Professional Development: Attend ongoing technical talks by Googlers. Additionally, learn how to enhance your resume, address technical interviews, and improve your presentation skills.
Mentorship: Be matched with a Google engineer, who will guide you through your summer experience.
Participate in social activities, community building, and networking. Build relationships with your peers.
Gain a unique glimpse into applying your computer science studies in a professional environment.

Minimum qualifications:

Currently in the second year of a Bachelor's degree.

Preferred qualifications:

Major in Computer Science or related technical field.
Programming experience in either Java, Python, C, or C++.
