The University of Edinburgh invites international students to apply for full-time undergraduate scholarships in Veterinary Studies for 2020-2021 in the United Kingdom

Eligibility criteria:

  1. Applicants must be both a national and a resident of a country outside the EU. 
  2. Applicants should have applied through either the Universities and Colleges Application Service (UCAS) or the Veterinary Medical Colleges Application Service (VMCAS) for the BVM&S full-time program commencing in the 2020-2021 academic year and been offered a place.
  3. Students already on the program are not eligible to apply.
  4. The Scholarships are competitive and awarded on the basis of academic merit
  5. The scholarship deadline is 23:59 GMT 10th May 2020.
  6. In order to gain access to the scholarship application system applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh.  Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to five working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
  7. All applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of July 2020.
  8.  Applicants with the Thanawiya General School Certificate with an overall average of 85% or above including 85% in required subjects will be considered for entry on successful completion of internal admissions tests. A suitable English Language certificate is also required.

Award:

Each scholarship is worth £5,000 per year and is tenable for the duration of your degree program, subject to satisfactory progress.
