Spotify is offering Sound Design Specialists from all over the world the opportunity to apply for a job opportunity within the team in Los Angeles, USA for 2020. Spotify is looking for passionate recording engineers that will join a rapidly growing network. It creates content consumed by millions of people, while working with a diverse and talented production team. You will have the opportunity to creatively assemble and mix a wide variety of podcasts. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences podcasts.

Responsibilities:

You’ll be responsible for sound mixing the episode assigned. This includes handling successful engineering, production/editing/mixing and delivery of podcast episodes.
You’ll be expected to produce up to 4 episode per week.
You will respond in a timely way to scheduling requests; consult with Studio Manager and Production Lead to assess details such as deadlines or necessary resources.
You should have the ability to identify and solve technical problems with equipment when possible.
You will have other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

You have 7+ years professional audio experience.
You hold a working knowledge and understanding of relevant technology.
You possess the ability to adapt to various styles of storytelling production.
You are comfortable with tight deadlines and working under pressure.
You can work independently and on your own initiative.
You are an excellent team player.
You have good time management and organizational skills.
You possess an outstanding attention to detail.
You have excellent problem-solving skills.
You are enthusiastic and willing to learn.
You can critique and judge your own work and achieve excellent results.
You are experienced with various Audio Workstations with expertise in at least 1.
You have a deep understanding of post-session tasks (i.e- trim/mixdown, create .MP3 or WAV files).
Welcoming of creative input and constructive feedback, while advocating and promoting your own agenda and direction for audio design.
You care about the quality of the product and your good reputation within the industry.
You have desired experiences/accomplishments that you can tell the company about.
