The University of Sussex is offering Puay Tang Memorial Scholarship 2020. It is awarded as a £10,000 tuition fee reduction and available to applicants applying to study a Masters.

About Puay Tang:

Dr Tang arrived at SPRU in 1994, having obtained a PhD in international relations from Johns Hopkins University. Working initially in the SPRU group on information and communication policy; her focus was on intellectual property rights (IPR), including copyright issues in electronic publishing, software patents, the management of IPR in collaborative projects, and the role of IPR in innovation. Subsequently, her emphasis switched more to university-industry relations.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have accepted an offer of a full time place on one of the following Masters courses:
    • Energy Policy MSc
    • Project Management MSc
    • Science and Technology Policy MSc
    • Strategic Innovation Management MSc
    • Sustainable Development MSc
  2. You are not eligible for this scholarship if you already have another Sussex scholarship.
  3. The statement of academic interests is assessed by demonstrating the following:
    • clear and specific goals with what you aim to do after you finish your Masters
    • significant work experience or extra-curricular activities related to your chosen Masters

Scholarship Amount:

£10,000, awarded as a tuition fee reduction.
