Salary: £33,797 to £40,322 p.a.

Are you an academic with the enthusiasm and ability to carry out teaching and research in Lusophone Studies? Additionally, do you have an excellent research record and a potential for establishing an international research reputation? Also, are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience?

Duties

As a member of the School of Languages, Cultures, and Societies, you will carry out teaching and research that complements our existing strengths in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies and in the School more broadly. Additionally, you will teach across our undergraduate and postgraduate curricula, with a particular focus on Portuguese studies. Also, you will also pursue a research agenda that builds on your achievements to date and that contributes to the School’s reputation for high quality and innovative research. Likewise, you should contribute to the effective management of the School, Faculty, and wider University by undertaking appropriate administrative duties.

Qualifications

You will have a Ph.D. in Lusophone Studies or cognate field, and relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
