The European Commission is offering the Youth4Regions programme in Brussels, Belgium for aspiring journalists. Youth4Regions is the European Commission programme helping journalism students and young journalists to discover what the EU is doing in their region.

Requirements:-

To apply for this program, you should:-

  • Be interest in what EU regional policy is doing in your region
  • Have a background in journalism (studies or up to 2 years of experience)
  • Be aged from 18 to 30 years old.
  • Be available during 11 – 16 October.
  • Be a journalist with up to 2 years of experience (calculated until the moment of the closing of the application period).

Timeline:-

  • Deadline for applications: 13 July, 2020.

  • Jury meeting: 3 August, 2020

  • Selection results: 10 August, 2020.

  • Trainings: 11 October:

  • Coverage of the EU’ Regions Week: from 12 to 15 October, 2020.

  • Visits of institutions and media organizations: 16 October.

About the European Commission:-
