IRC requires a supply chain officer in Anbar. Under the direct supervision of senior supply chain officer, the supply chain officer is responsible for providing support and assistance to the IRC staff and programs in matters related to procurement and logistics.

Eligibility:

You must have:

College degree, preferably in business management.
At least 3 years of prior professional experience in a similar post with an INGO.
Arabic and be advance English speaker.
Ability to work independently.
Good interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to maintain the highest degree of discretion.
The position will based in Ramadi, supporting all IRC offices in Anbar with possibility of travel to other governorates for support and training purposes.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of:

Supervise and manage the performance of the procurement assistant if any.
Locate facilities for new office or program facilities; prepare contracts and manage their renewal schedule.
All types of procurement to be carried out in accordance to IRC Iraq and donor-specific polices.
Assist to carry out quarterly spot checks for assets and inventory to ensure records are up-to-date for condition and location.
Support field offices in documenting the receipt, handling, storage, release and reporting of goods deposited at the IRC offices and stores/ warehouses.
Vehicles payments.
Managing service contracts.
Responsible of vendor files management and ensure their information, ATC are up-date.
Any other duties or tasks delegated by supervisor.

Additional Functions

Update online BvA system and follow up on PRs progress and ensure no pending PRs.
Supporting logistic assistant to make sure all accommodation are provided for IRC guests and staff from other regions, offices visiting IRC field office.
