Erasmus Intern is offering an internship opportunity in Amsterdam, Netherlands as Project Operator at Healthy & Affordable. That is an independent social business from Sapient whose aim is to reduce the amount of food being wasted in Amsterdam, starting from its collection till its new market launch. Indeed, this unwanted food is first collected from food suppliers and then dehydrated, frozen and pickled in order to be ready to be packed up and finally put in the market again. Moreover, all the profit that we earn by selling our products is invested in the fight against food waste in Amsterdam.

Internship duration and working hours:

Part-time for three months, however you can choose the duration that suits you best (minimum of three months). Moreover, you can choose your own working hours as full-time or part-time as long as you strictly follow the program you set for yourself.
·Due to Corona restrictions, it is possible to work remotely for certain positions. It's also possible to work from our office Ferdinand Huyckstraat 62, 1061 HW Amsterdam.

Internship duties:

Project Operator who is in charge to supervise and accomplish the operational and logistic activities of H&A. Therefore, we are looking for a person who is willing to physically join us in Amsterdam and get ready to represent Healthy and Affordable.

Your tasks will include:

Coordinate the process of pick-up food surplus from food suppliers.
Be in charge of processing the food, packaging it, labeling it and delivering the products to customers.
Create and update the products’ inventory.
Represent H&A in Sapient events and activities.
Collaborate with H&A food developers to ensure technical project requirements are met.
Be able to step forward in assisting other departments.
Enhance a consistent strong communication with the Project Coordinator.
