Photocrowd is launching a photo contest, on the theme of "Farming", as each and everyone interested in creative photography is invited to take part in this contest.
Farming covers a huge range of agricultural activities that produce the food that we eat, and other crops such as fibres and biofuel. Across the world it ranges from subsistence farming on small areas of land, to vast monoculture farms with the latest technology and science applied. There is an increasing focus now on how we farm, as we seek to feed the world whilst paying attention to its environmental impact. Not included in the scope of this contest are wind farms, or other entities given the name ‘farm’ that aren’t agricultural in nature.
