The Academy of Medical Sciences in partnership with the British Academy, the Royal Academy of Engineering, and the Royal Society, is proud to offer GCRF (Global Challenges Research Fund) Networking Grants for the applicants of developing countries and the UK.

The GCRF is an initiative that aims to support cutting-edge interdisciplinary research that addresses the global issues faced by developing countries. The key goal of the Networking Grants is to bring together novel combinations of perspectives to identify key areas for future research to address the global challenges, inform thinking of how these might be addressed, and build the capacities and relationships required to support this.

The British Academy is the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences – the study of peoples, cultures, and societies, past, present and future.

The awards provide up to GBP 25,000 over 1 year to hold networking events, supporting collaborations between developing countries and the UK looking at global challenges.
