University of Technology Sydney (UTS) invites international students to apply for the International Undergraduate Full Tuition Scholarship for 2020. This Scholarship was established to support high achieving commencing international students enrolling in an undergraduate program at UTS in Sydney, Australia.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be an international student at the time of application (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia).
- Meet all admission requirements for the selected course.
- Commence full-time studies on campus.
- Have completed an Australian Year 12 or high school studies comparable to an Australian Year 12, no longer than three (3) years prior to commencing at UTS and be admitted based on this qualification to UTS.
- Has an overall mark of 85% or equivalent in a UTS recognized high school qualification?
- All applicants must apply using the UTS online Scholarships Application form to be eligible.
- Students enrolling in a UTS transnational program are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- The Scholarship will be awarded to the highest-ranked applicant(s) on the basis of academic merit in the academic qualification used as a basis for admission into the selected UTS Bachelor degree program coupled with the applicant’s response to the following question: “How do you intend to use your UTS degree to make a positive contribution to the community?”.
- Decisions to award Scholarships will be made solely by the Scholarships Committee, as described in Clause 7 of the Conditions of Awards, in its absolute discretion.
- The duration of the Scholarship is the standard number of sessions required for completion of the Recipient’s enrolled undergraduate course on the basis of a full-time study load, as specified in the letter of offer for admission to the course. Where the Recipient does not follow the usual standard full-time course structure, the total value of the Scholarship may be exhausted prior to course completion. The maximum duration of the Scholarship is eight sessions under any program
- The Recipient must maintain the minimum progression rules of the University for the duration of the Scholarship. If the minimum progression rules are not maintained, payment of the Scholarship may be suspended or terminated, unless the Recipient can demonstrate exceptional circumstances for the consideration of the Scholarship Selection Committee. Exceptional circumstances may include, but are not limited to, disability, ongoing illness, career’s responsibilities, and other educational barriers, and are considered by the Scholarships Office case-by-case.
Scholarship Value:
The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the standard duration of your Bachelor degree.
