The Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France offers a bachelor degree scholarship in hospitality management for students from all over the world, who want to join the next generation of managers, leaders in the hospitality industry. The hospitality industry demands adaptability and in-depth knowledge of the behavior, lifestyles, and areas of interest of an increasingly demanding international clientele. This education program offers recognition at the international, professional and academic levels:

1. An international Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Hospitality Management awarded by Institut Paul Bocuse.

2. The official title of the International Hotel and Restaurant Manager registered on the National Register for Professional Certification (level II) and granted by Institut Paul Bocuse.

There Are Two Types of Grants: 

1. Merit Scholarship: This is a scholarship for students under the age of 28 and awarded to deserving students who can demonstrate excellent academic results before joining the Institut Paul Bocuse. Total 6 grants will be awarded.

Criteria for the selection of applicants: "Very Good" rating for the high school diploma and/or an average of 16/20 during the final year or a BTS or an equivalent diploma (including foreign ratings). 

The scholarship is renewable the following year according to the following criteria:

  •  The student has an average mark of 15/20 and/or is one of the top 3 students in the class.
  • Attendance certificate (showing 0 hrs of absence not justified by the teaching block)
  • Involvement in the life of the school. 

2. Grant Based on Social Criteria: These grants are for students under the age of 28, whose family resources are limited. They are defined according to the scales of the CROUS. A maximum of 15 grants based on social criteria is awarded.

The grant is renewable the following year according to the following criteria:   

  • The student has an average of 15/20 and/or is one of the top 3 students in the class.
  • Attendance certificate (showing 0 hrs of absence not justified by the teaching block).  

Funding:

Merit Scholarship Assistance granted: 

A percentage set by the Grants Committee of up to 50% of tuition fees. Other costs will remain the responsibility of the student. 

 Grant Based on Social Criteria Assistance granted: 

A percentage set by the Grants Committee, corresponding to the CROUS grants, and up to 100% of tuition fees. Other costs will remain the responsibility of the student.
