EFMD invites creative individuals to participate in the Case Writing Competition for 2019, which encourages innovative and impactful case writing and teaching.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants may apply individually or as a team.
- Applicants must represent a school or an institution (applications from individuals are not accepted).
- Applicants may enter the category of their choice, except the one sponsored by their institution.
- Judges may submit a case in any category of their choice, except the one they are judging/their institution is sponsoring. They will not participate in the selection of prize winners in categories under which they submitted a case.
Case studies and associated material must:
- Be presented in English, include an executive summary and teaching notes.
- Be anonymous (the name of the application or his/her institution should not feature in any of the documents).
- Deal with real enterprises and/or organizations (company release form to be submitted if applicable).
- If your case has been published, please be aware that EFMD can only accept cases published after 1 January 2017.
- There is no limit on the length of the case.
- Cases that do not meet these conditions will be excluded from the competition.
Evaluation criteria:

Content: The ability to create a strong and interesting learning experience.

Form: A good balance between a well-told story and sufficient data.

The teaching notes: Accompanying each submission to enhance the learner’s experience.

Innovation: Ideas should improve teaching and student engagement.
Award and benefits:
- Be published by the Case Centre and gain wide visibility across the EFMD network.
