The Attar-ur-Rahman Prize is a prize intended to support the work of young chemists living in countries where access to science is difficult (ST- lagging countries). The prize is sponsored by the Dawood Foundation, a foundation dedicated to fostering development through education. The prize is open to student in all fields of chemistry.
The prize is worth USD 5,000. Winners are invited to attend the TWAS General Meeting and present a paper on their work.
[1] Fill out the application form here, which includes a description of your contribution to chemistry (maximum of 500 words)
[2] Attach your CV (including a list of publications)
[3] Attach a supporting statement by a referee
[4] Send your application form, your CV and the supporting statement to: prizes@twas.org
