The KNB scholarship has been run by the Indonesian Government for almost 10 years. It aims to educate young leaders from developing countries and equip them with knowledge on how to enact change in their countries. The scholarship offers the opportunity to pursue a Masters degree and also explore a different language and culture firsthand. The program runs for three years and includes an eight-month Indonesian Language course, followed by a four-month Master's degree preparatory course and a two-year Master’s degree program.
For the degree, recipients can choose to attend one of 15 Indonesian universities and specialize in one of six diverse fields of studies, including Humanities, Science, Engineering, Education, etc.
[1] Download the invitation letter from the Indonesian Governement
[2] Submit the Invitation letter, your Passport, Academic Certificates and Academic Transcripts from your Bachelor’s degree to the Indonesian Embassy to acquire the recommendation letter
[3] Register online and fill in application form, which includes:
[4] A photograph of yourself
[5] A copy of your passport
[6] A scan of your Bachelor’s diploma
[7] A scan of your Transcripts of Records from your Bachelor’s degree
[8] Your proposed study programme in Indonesia
[9] A description of your skills (about 500 words)
[10] Your Motivation Letter (about 500 words)
[11] Two academic recommendations
[12] The letter of recommendation from the Indonesian Embassy
[13] A medical statement
[14] Your English Language Test
