Applications call Under the Hooded Monster Contest 2020.

Francis Booker and Michael Ragusa are holding a contest to see who can write the best short story about facing down a monster and overcoming it! Winning entries will be published on the Under the Hood Website and reviewed on the Under the Hooded YouTube channel. The grand prize winner will receive $100.

Everyone loves a good monster. The best kind is terrifying, powerful, and shows us something fundamental about our humanity. However, monsters are made to be confronted. Whether it’s a monster hunter, a person who runs into a monster accidentally, or a more symbolic confrontation, monsters are only as good as the people who go after them. And that’s what this contest is all about and the Under the Hooded Monster Contest aims to see the stories about confronting your best monsters. Bonus points for original monsters.
