The University of Hong Kong calls applications from qualified candidates for appointments as Postdoctoral Fellowship (3 posts) in the Faculty of Education. The fellowship position will begin on September 1, 2020, or as soon as possible thereafter for two years.

Position Summary

The appointee will work on a project on learning Chinese as a second language (CSL) for kindergarteners and developing teachers skills in teaching CSL. He/She will assist the Project Investigators and the Research Manager to oversee all research elements in the project, including performing a literature review, designing research instruments for collection and analysis of research data, writing research reports, summarisation and conceptualization of research findings for project dissemination. He/She will also need to provide research support for the preparation of the curriculum guide, learning and teaching resources, K3-P1 transition and teacher professional development, and perform other duties as assigned.
