This position requires a masters degree in Criminal Justice or related field. Moreover, the University will give preference to candidates with formal teaching and law enforcement experience in Criminal Justice. Additionally, a valid Florida drivers license and pre-employment drug screen are required. Also, a current Florida Department of Law Enforcement general topics instructor certification is required with high liability Instructor certifications preferred.
Rank: The appointment level to any faculty position is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
Salary: Nine-month position. Competitive salary depending on experience. Likewise, the College also provides a comprehensive benefits package.
Tenure and Promotion: Tenure and promotion are awarded based on a review by a college-wide committee of the candidates contributions to service, pedagogy, and scholarship.
