You will ensure to review consortium financial reports as accurate. Likewise, consolidate in a timely manner, whilst also making sure that the disbursement of all Plan funds is done in line with Plan procedures. Additionally, you will oversee that financial issues are dealt with and also spend a significant amount of time working to ensure financials are accurately reported internally from partners. Furthermore, you will work closely with Plan Sierra Leone to ensure the GECT project fully complies.
To be successful in this role, you will have a masters degree in finance or financial management or a professional qualification in accountancy. Furthermore, you will have in-depth knowledge of the DFID. Or, financial management rules and regulations of the United Kingdom government. Also, it is essential that you have experience in managing grants programs or sub-granting mechanisms involving local NGOs and you must also have proven logistics, procurement, or supply chain management skills.
Furthermore, the organization is looking to employ someone with good negotiating, facilitating, and influencing skills. Also, who also has the ability to adapt to new software and financial management systems. Additionally, you will have excellent problem solving, analytical, and judgment skills. Furthermore, the ability to deliver to tight deadlines and facilitate participative processes.
