Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, genetics, computational biology, or other relevant disciplines, with in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python, C/C++, JAVA, and R.

Likewise, experience in analyzing high-throughput data in viral genetics and immunity will be an advantage. Furthermore, the University will give preference to those with expertise in bioinformatics and computational biology, and with strong interests in translational research.
The appointee will develop AI-based analytics for data generated from the Harvard Medical Schools VirScan platform to evaluate the comprehensive antibody repertoire and decipher exposure histories of known and novel pathogens, and integrate the analytics to predict immune protection to delineate key epitopes for vaccine development. Additionally, he/She will also contribute to the teaching and supervision of postgraduate research students.
The University will offer a highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Also, annual leave and medical benefits. Moreover, at current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. Furthermore, the appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme. It totals up to 15% of the basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
