Learn more about program’s eligibility, English language, and work experience requirements to assess your own eligibility.

Courses

You will need to select three different master's courses. These can be three different courses at the same institution or three similar courses at up to three different universities. Recommendation selecting three similar courses at three different universities to increase the likelihood that you will gain entry into one of them.

Please note that the course titles do not have to match exactly, but all three courses should be similar in content. You should select courses that reflect your current or future career goals.

In order to be eligible, the courses you choose must be full-time

Eligibility

Ineligible applications will be rejected, so it is important that you check that you meet the eligibility criteria before you start your application.

Be a citizen of a program eligible country or territory.

Have at least two years of work experience.

English language requirement

In order to receive a Scholarship, all applicants must demonstrate that they have fulfilled an English language requirement. We advise all applicants to ensure they have fulfilled the English language requirement as early as possible by either:

Accepted English language tests from five providers:

• Academic IELTS (paper or computer-based)
• Pearson PTE Academic
TOEFL iBT
• C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge English: Advanced [CAE])
• Trinity ISE II (B2)

You will be required to take one of the approved English language tests unless you fall into one of the exempt categories.

English language requirements for UK universities

As well as meeting English language requirement, you may also have to meet certain English language criteria to be eligible for your university course. Universities may only accept a certain type of test or ask for higher minimum test scores. Be sure to check with your university what test they require you to take, even when you fall into one of program’s exempt categories above.

References

References are an integral part of a program’s selection process. You must supply the names of two referees at least when you submit your application.

If your application is progressed to the next stage of the process, you will be required to upload two reference letters to the online application system.

Who can be a referee?

Please select your referees carefully. They should be people who can comment on your general suitability to receive a program Scholarship or Fellowship. Referees should be known to you, either in an academic or professional capacity. They should not be a relative or close personal friend.

Your reference should cover the following:

Your contact details: address, email address, and phone number

How long have you known the applicant?

In what capacity do you know the applicant? (e.g. professional, educational, supervisory, voluntary, religious, etc.)

When did you last have regular contact with the applicant?

A brief overall endorsement of the applicant, including their:

  • Skills in leadership and networking.

  • Personal, intellectual, and interpersonal qualities.

  • Ability to complete a demanding academic programme in that country.

Work experience

You must ensure that you meet the minimum work-experience requirement for the scholarship before submitting your application. some Scholarships programs require that applicants have at least two years of work experience.

If you do not already have the required level of work experience, you will be unable to submit your application.
